Prof Dr.GeoffreyChow, PhD
Dr. Geoffrey Chow is a nominee of two Victoria University Alumni Achievement Awards 2022 - Lifetime Achievement Award and Professional Achievement Award. He is also a Board Member of Journal of Nation-Building Research (JNBR), Social Science Research & Innovations (SSRI), Journal of Future Studies for Development (JFSD), and International Journal of Index Development (IJINDEX).
Founder and Chief Strategist of the New Silk Roads World Forum, and the Founder of the New Silk Roads Global Institute (NSRGI), a thinktank based in Australia, Dr. Chow is also an author, working on his 5th book currently.
With a keen interest in world affairs, especially those in East Asia, Dr. Chow has been involved with, and being, an Advisory Council Member of the World Chinese Business and Economic Summit for 13 years.
Dr. Chow had been a business and marketing educator, at Swinburne University and other Australian higher education institutions. He holds a doctoral degree (PhD) from Swinburne University, MBA (Master of Business Administration) from Victoria University, B.Sc. (Bachelor of Science) from Monash University, and a Diploma in Programming Technology from Control Data Institute. He is also an Adjunct Research Fellow of Swinburne University and in December 2022, an Adjunct/Visiting Professor of UCSI University.
Dr. Chow is a Fellow of the Graduate Management Association Australia; Senior Member of the Australian Computer Society; and Member of the Chinese Professional and Business Association.
Having had extensive commercial experience in several industries for decades before joining the academic world. Dr. Chow has taught postgraduate as well as undergraduate classes. He also had a background in ICT industries. His interests in ICT continued into mobile computing and mobile learning in recent years.
